Who we are

Archicise (https://archicise.com) is operated by DIZENZ (https://dizenz.com), referred to below as "we" or "us". This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Archicise, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Questions about this policy can be sent to hi@dizenz.com.

What we collect

Account data. When you create an account we store your name, email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google; we never see your Google password.

Learning activity. The exercises you open, the solutions and answers you submit, the feedback you receive and your progress through the study material. This is the core of the service and is stored against your account.

Company workspace data. If you create or join a company workspace we store the company name, your role in it and the invitations sent to and by you. If your company runs technical interviews through Archicise, the interview setup, your answers and the resulting assessment are stored as well.

Technical data. Server logs (IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps) and aggregate, privacy-friendly usage analytics. We do not use advertising trackers.

Messages you send us. Support requests and any other correspondence you send to hi@dizenz.com.

How we use it

  • To provide the service: authenticate you, save your progress, generate exercises and feedback, and run company workspaces and interviews.
  • To send transactional email: account verification, password resets, workspace invitations and interview notifications. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
  • To keep the service secure and reliable: rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging and monitoring.
  • To improve Archicise: understanding which exercises and articles are used, in aggregate.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

AI-generated content

Exercise generation and feedback are produced by large language models operated by third-party AI providers. The text you submit for review (your solution, answers and the exercise context) is sent to those providers to produce the response. We do not send your name, email address or password to them, and we do not use your submissions to train our own models.

Company workspaces

When you belong to a company workspace, the workspace owners and admins can see your name, email address, role and your learning progress within Archicise. Interviewers in the workspace can see the interviews they run, including candidate answers and assessments. Leaving a workspace stops this visibility for future activity.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run Archicise, each bound by their own privacy commitments:

  • Google — sign-in with Google, if you choose it.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional email.
  • Vercel — hosting, and privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies or track you across sites.
  • Managed PostgreSQL hosting — storage of the application database.
  • AI providers reached through the Vercel AI Gateway — exercise generation and feedback, as described above.

We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of our users, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply).

Cookies and local storage

Archicise uses only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and small preference cookies such as your theme and whether the sidebar is collapsed. Your browser's local storage is used for similar preferences. None of these are used for advertising.

Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, or ask us to at hi@dizenz.com, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep it to comply with a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. Backups are rotated on a fixed schedule and expire automatically. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can update your name and profile from the app; for anything else, or to exercise these rights, email hi@dizenz.com. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Children

Archicise is intended for working professionals and students aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from younger children; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are announced in the app or by email before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision.
